MTB experience in the Fassa Dolomites

Two high-altitude itineraries await you, accompanied by local bike guides. On Friday afternoon, you will set off for the beautiful Val Contrin and the mountain hut of the same name, where you can recharge your batteries with a traditional dinner and a good night's sleep. The following morning, you will descend into the valley and take the lifts back up to altitude to join the Sellaronda MTB Tour, taking with you a delicious picnic of products made in Val di Fassa: the most famous tour of the Dolomites awaits you!

Program

Friday 26th September

• 3:30 p.m. - meeting point at the Ciampac valley station in Alba di Canazei
• 3:45 p.m. - departure with guides along trail no. 602, which after an initial climb to Baita Locia Contrin, crosses the Val del Contrin on mostly flat ground and then, after a few challenging ramps, leads to the Contrin Refuge
• Approximately 5:45 p.m. - arrival at the refuge, room allocation, settling in and relaxation
• 7:15 p.m. - dinner with typical local products and recipes

Saturday 27th September

• 7 a.m. - start the day on the right foot with a hearty breakfast at the refuge
• 7:45 a.m. - departure from the Contrin Refuge and descent to Alba di Canazei (following the same route taken the previous day)
• Approximately 8:45 a.m. - arrival in Alba and cycle ride to the Canazei ski lifts with distribution of packed lunches featuring products from the Val di Fassa
• 9 a.m. - ascent with the Belvedere cable car and departure for the Sellaronda MTB Tour: a 60 km excursion with the help of various ski lifts with the Dolomiti SuperSummer Card
• In the afternoon, return to Canazei and Alba and end of the experience
