From July 5 to 12, 2025, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo will host the 5 Days of Italy, an unmissable event for orienteering enthusiasts from all over the world. This is one of the most prestigious competitions on the international circuit, combining sport, nature, and the discovery of the area in an exceptional setting: the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The event will welcome over 2,000 athletes, many of whom will come from Scandinavia and Northern Europe, ready to challenge themselves through forests, meadows, and breathtaking landscapes. Equipped with a topographic map (and in some cases a compass), the orienteers will start at regular one-minute intervals. Their goal will be to complete the course in the shortest possible time, reaching all the “lanterns”—the control points scattered along the route and marked on the map—that certify the correct completion of the race.
